Haarlem Jamborette is a large international camp that takes place for 12 days in the Netherlands every 4 years. BSO Area attended the last Jamborette in 2019 and we look forward to attending again in August 2023.
This camp gives you the chance to attend a jamboree outside of the UK, meet up with thousands of other scouts and take part in a large range of activities such as sailing, kayaking, arts and crafts, sightseeing, climbing towers, zip-lines and tons more! There are also several parties throughout the camp including amazing opening and closing ceremonies. For everyone who attends, it is likely to be the highlight of their childhood!
How do I sign up for Haalem 2023 with BSO?
Please note that the organiser's maximum group size is 75 places in total (66 young people + 9 adults). If this camp is over-subscribed on the cut-off date (1st November 2022), BSO reserves the right to apply a selection process. Once your place is confirmed, you will then have seven days to pay the deposit before your place is released. An immediate €100, non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your place when requested. Young people and adults interested in attending should register an expression of interest by completing our Expression of Interest form.
If we are oversubscribed, we will endeavour to find a space for you within an adjacent BSO Scout Group but this is not guaranteed and depends on their capacity. Please note that we can only accept active members of 6TH EASTCOTE SCOUT GROUP (sorry, we are unable to accept non-BSO members from UK-based Scout Groups).
