Since 2017, we have attended many international summer jamborees which have all been chosen by our members

Great representation from BSO at the British Embassy in Madrid as the Royal British Legion launched their Poppy Day appeal 2024. Well done to Catherine Fenton and the 1st Madrid Scout Group for achieving recognition for the amount of their donation from last year. As Middle East District Programme Team Lead you will take the lead in making sure we support the delivery of a quality programme to our adult volunteers who deliver effective programmes to our youth members across BSO, You will lead a team of programme supporters, Nights Away advisors and in supporting, our 14-24 programme and Top Awards team

As Area Support Team Lead you will take the lead in making sure we support our adult volunteers through effective communications through our website, social channels and quarterly Far & Wide magazine. You’ll also support out technical team who manage our Microsoft 365 tenant. Away from communications, you’ll support our Growth & New Provision Lead, who working with our District Lead Volunteers will help to identify growth opportunities across BSO and developing our relationships with our host National Scouting Organisations. The BSO team is broad and includes our Area Lead Volunteer, Area Team Leads, District Lead Volunteers and our Area Trustee Board. You will be joining a team of talented, focussed volunteers who are all passionate about bringing brilliant Scouting to every young person who wants to take part and join the adventure.
