Following a competitive selection process, it gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Christopher Tebb (Chris) who is the new District Commissioner for Northern Europe District.
The selection team were impressed with his proven managerial skills and with his personable management style. After having several conversations with him, I know he will be a brilliant fit for the District and it’s a great bonus that he actually lives within the district. Here’s a little about him: Chris is a chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and is currently a digital director at a British multi-national engineering management consultancy.
He is an Assistant Explorer Leader with the 1st Prague Scout Group having joined six months ago. He was a Beaver, Cub, Scout and Venture Scout at the 54th Portsmouth (Great Salterns) and has subsequently lived in the UK, UAE and Czech Republic.
Outside of Scouts he is a keen golfer and cricketer. Chris will take over from PK on the 1st January 2022. I’d also like to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you to PK for all that he has done for the district and BSO over the last year.
